Disney owns Hollywood Pictures.  I didn't realize it either.

Actually, I think just straight "Disney" Disney might've done a better job, but oh well.

Another Mario movie! Since this is Miyamoto approved it must be good.   Also for some reason I heard that Shigeru Myamoto might retire, is that true?    I wonder who will be in charge of Mario then.

I think he misinterpreted the fact that Miyamoto approved the first one.
I didn't realize Disney owned Hollywood Pictures either, but that explains why it was run on the Disney Channel a few years ago.

Disney also owns Touchstone, Miramax, and Soap Net, and has governmental authority over three cities in Florida.

Their assets also include everything else in the world.

I suppose it's less like the Pentagon and more like the society of intelligent reptilian humanoids who live beneath the earth's crust and covertly control most of the world's major political powers.
