Mario and Sonic will meet once again in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, announced today for Wii and Nintendo DS. This time, the Italian plumber and blue hedgehog will head to Vancouver, Canada to compete in events based on the upcoming 2010 Olympic Winter Games such as Alpine Skiing and Speed Skating.

According to the press release, the Wii version will have Wii Balance Board support. Both the Wii and DS versions are scheduled for late 2009.

Not if it's done right. (which is nowadays pretty much saying the impossible Because Nintendo and Sega would both screw up in one way or another.)

Like I said, a Mario/Sonic crossover could only have been done right if it were made pre-Dreamcast era.
