Overview

Mario's girlfriend, Pauline, has been captured by that big ape, Donkey Kong! Mario must run, jump, and hammer his way through hazardous construction zones if he ever wants to see his girlfriend again.

Donkey Kong was added to the Wii's Virtual Console on November 19th, 2006. The game is playable with the Wii Remote, Wii Classic Controller, or a GameCube controller. It is available for 500 Wii Points.
