The most interesting Mario reference in LoZ:MM is a Mario mask that can be seen on a backpack very early in the game (see screen shot above).
Just like in Ocarina of Time, there are Mario and Luigi look-alikes. And once again, it's pretty obvious that it was intentional.
The Bowser-head pendants worn by Malon, Talon, and Ingo in Ocarina of Time are worn by Romani and Cremia in Majora's Mask.
