Something's wrong with the sewers in Brookyln, NY. For some reason, odd-looking monsters have been popping out of sewer pipes all over town. It's up to expert plumbers, Mario and Luigi, to rid their hometown of these creatures through infinite levels of solo or cooperative play.

On November 11th, 2002, Mario Bros. was re-released as Mario Bros.-e for the Nintendo e-Reader Game Boy Advance accessory.
