Overview
White Knuckle Scorin' is a strange compilation released by Nintendo, containing ten songs by ten artists with nothing in common. It appears that Jellyfish wrote "Ignorance is Bliss" for this album. The only Mario-related track, "Ignorance is Bliss" is an interesting song with clever lyrics taking us inside the scheming, evil mind of Bowser Koopa.
Also, included inside is a short Mario comic that is a sort of prologue to Jellyfish's song, which is just icing on the cake for Mario fans.
Jellyfish also released "Ignorance is Bliss" on their New Mistake Japanese single (April 27th, 1999) and Fan Club box set (August 2002).
