When I first got this computer, I was a real InuYasha fanatic, so I thought, why the heck not? It's my computer.

*I had no picture of this wallpaper when it was my current wallpaper, so I took it later on, and tried to make it look like it was taken at that time. That Graphite apple in the upper left hand corner is supposed to be Aqua, but turned Graphite, which, at the time, was the current color scheme.
**I don't link to these wallpapers for various reasons you don't really need to hear. They're up in my Photobucket gallery though, if you'd like to see them.
***Thanks to a clever idea of MaxVance's, I made a "G" version of this, by moving my "One time...." folder over a part of the wallpaper people such as Mr. Melee or Sapphira would find "nsfw". An "uncensored" version is in my album as well.
Now, show me all of the ones you guys used.

And donotcare, chill. At least his grammar and spelling is good; he even used punctuation. Un-caps is no biggie in my book; coherency is what counts. Actually, his grammar was better than yours, because if you want to get technical, you should've used semicolons instead of commas in your first sentence. It's called a comma-splice. :P

That's been there for about six months, literally. I did eventually mail something, though, and I still plan to mail more in the future.

It's where I composed the lyrics and stored the code for it, because I was, for some reason, scared that it ever might be deleted by someone. This was closer to the days of the Code Wars, remember.
This is less icons then are usually around, because I cleaned up a lot of junk before taking pics. Some junk still remained. Some secret stuff that shouldn't have been revealed, also.

Well, it depends, the way it loads images is just a bit slow (But then again I have a pretty fast internet.), but you can open new tabs to have more than one site on your browser which is pretty awesome, even when you exit, it saves the last sites you were on and keeps them on your browser when you open it, a few things look a bit different I beleive, such as site colors ect, even when you have something on your favorites list, it moves them over to it's "Bookmark" list. I don't know about Firefox, but this is definetly better than IE.

Haha, snow is pretty. I find blues to be calming, as well, and since snow tends to glisten blue (what with it reflecting the sky's color and all), the snow is calming. Not to mention I love it when it snows because it doesn't happen often here, and I was deprived of it completely for most of my life. The way snowflakes flutter down is so peaceful, too. Snow makes me reminiscent and also think of Christmastime. <3
I don't really think about the temperature, because when it's cold, I can always bundle up and feel warm. I like that feeling.

The other one explains itself. "This folder prevents the hard drive from appearing here". For some very odd reason the Hard Drive folder (it's the Mac equivalent of "My Computer" for those unfamiliar with Mac terminology, lawl) would appear there every time the computer is booted up. I do not like it there, I want it in line with the rest of the folders on the right side of the screen. Unfortunately it isn't very effective, as the Hard Drive folder now appears at the bottom of the line every time I start up. I think I made a folder invisible and placed it there one day, which is why the Hard Drive does not seem to want to be where I want it to be.
Unfortunately, I've forgotten how to make invisible folders visible again with the commands I've used in the computer's terminal.

I do. I've always found my wallpapers to be very enjoyable. My Pom Poko wallpaper always had me going "I WANNA HUG YOU" at the cuddly little creatures whenever no windows were open or everything else was hidden.

Speaking of which, I have used some Balto wallpapers before. But darned if I know whether they're furry. I still think Robin Hood (animated version by Disney, with Robin Hood as a fox) is one of the best examples of a "furry" animated film, although I acknowledge it's hard to sit through today given its brand of humor.

And for TEM, I intentionally tried not to lash back because I'm really tired of the arguments against furries. I don't even know what kind of a furry I am, if I even am one. Sure, there are certain parts of furry I find weird. I've seen both light and extreme examples. But if it's true that most people group "furry" into one kind of people, instead of the many subcultures that exist for it (assuming I'm correct about what furry is), then that's an issue. Doesn't stop me from occasionally laughing at furry jokes though. I still can't believe I misread one joke from "Futurama" though. Everyone's in an alternate universe of some sort, Fry and others check out some room that men would be interested in, Leela's disgusted and decides to walk into some other room, which happens to be "Filthy Chatroom". For some reason I misread it as "Furry Chatroom", and I was so sure it said that until I saw the episode a second time.
Anyway, enough of that. Another one of my wallpapers was the artpiece at the end of Episode 1 of the DOS game "Jazz Jackrabbit". Jazz has just finished Medivo, he's giving a thumbs-up to the player. You know, I could have sworn there was a secret artpiece where Jazz and Devan Shell are playing poker, Devan pointing a gun at Jazz from under the table. I recall getting that when completing the first episode on some difficulty, then completing it again on an easier difficulty. Maybe you get it when completing on Tough difficulty.

What's with the "furry art lovers are getting hated on" attitude? No one has said one negative thing about furry anything.Not in this thread, no, but in one or two other threads, certain users' sigs, etc. I feel when the topic pops up, the aggressive haters will come in and just be annoying.

Here's my current wallpaper. It's Vicki Fox (at 4 different angles), the main character in my favorite (although rarely updated) webcomic.Vicki! Well, I've long forgotten about her, but the Vicki Fox site was one of the earliest furry sites I remember stumbling across. Can't remember whether that was before or after I found Jamie's Tiny Toon Adventures page. It's fitting that on her wish list of animation cels, most of the Tiny Toon Adventures cels include Fifi. I like the different drawings for each section, my favorite being Wildlife > Wildlife conservation > Wildlife and conservation resources just because it has a drawing of Scarlett Fox (very rare to find any sort of Ranger Rick art/fanart online).

This were the last two I used. I had a Rosario + Vampire one when I first discovered the series and switched to the Action Hank one because it was too great to be passed up. Now I'm using another Street Fighter one, out of boredom.

That said, I can identify six games there that I have installed: Utawarerumono (a strategy RPG/eroge), Battle Moon Wars (an all-ages doujin Super Robot Wars clone/parody/homage involving TYPE-MOON characters), Fate/stay night, Fate/hollow ataraxia, CROSS†CHANNEL (the game NANACA†CRASH's characters came from), and Sengoku Rance (a wargame/eroge). I'm also surprised by the non-presence of certain highly-popular titles, such as Ever 17 (unless the Japanese version has a different icon, which is entirely possible; Ever 17 is an all-ages visual novel) and Tsukihime (as well as its sequels).

Do keep in mind that my netbook's normal resolution is 1024x600, not the 1280x960 displayed in these pictures (taken with the netbook outputting video to an external monitor). Between games and utilities, I'd have 123 more icons on my desktop than I do by keeping everything within those two folders, which would be downright impossible at the built-in monitor's resolution.

And Ness is right. SNES9X is not obsolete. ...and I don't think ZSNES is either.
But I will throw my head into a trash compactor if Nintendo puts "Mr. Nutz" onto the Virtual Console. I played that recently and... it sucked. It's unfairly tough, it's the only version of the game to lack passwords (unless you put in a cheat to fake your way through it), you can barely find any info on it. I really want AVGN to review it, but he doesn't have the game, so... someone send him that cart, please.

Several SNES roms can take up quite a bit of space, yes. N64 roms, they can suck up space fast. But an emulator alone, that takes up very little space.

Alright; fine. Aside from a handful of otherwise-unplayable SNES gems, there's little reason for an emulator to be hogging data or memory or whatever on our decade-old computer.
I've got several emulators and games to go with them (including a few N64 ones), and they don't even take up half of my 1GB SD Card.
Also, suppose you want to play Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, Super Metroid, or Yoshi's Island; SNES9x GX's button-mapping ability means I don't have to spend a ton of cash on a classic controller, never mind the games themselves.

No, Toad had red spots in SMB2. They were only blue in the NES version of the game due to palette problems caused by lazy programming which were fixed in every other version. And the manual.

What world is that in the background? It looks like World 3 (the ice world), but I'm not for sure.
