And Mario and Luigi were actually not born in Brooklin. They were born in TMK. After SMW2, their parents sent them to Brooklin after Bowser attacked TMK.

Note: THIS IS JUST A RUMOR TAHT I HEARD.

it said what was mario's first adventure, not what was the game mario was first in. just because he was sitting on yoshi's back, it doesn't mean he was on an adventure. it was yoshi's adventure! don't you understand that?

The same is true of Yoshi's Safari. Mario may have been on Yoshi's back shooting things, but look at the title: YOSHI's Safari. It wasn't Mario's game.

Same logic applies to Yoshi's Cookie. Mario may have been in there shifting the cookies, it was Yoshi's game.

Of course, you can probably find a flaw in that. After, Mario's the star of Donkey Kong, but our logic says Donkey Kong should be. Same logic fails with Wario's Woods. Toad's the star, but who's in the title?
