*is jealous of Nameneko*
Although I can make out a lot of what is said there, I'm still far from being able to actually read it.
Poor Japanese. That article is like 80% katakana, which is really bad. It would be like trying to read the following:
I
ikued to the
benjo because
shizuka-na ongaku was playing from there.
Bikkurily, I found two
futotteiru otoko no ko playing
shamisen. From
sagasuing on the Internet, I
kangaeru that they
chūkajiminkyōwakoku kara kirued. But
zannen deshita ne because once
jōzu ni narued, they
derued the
heya. That made me
kanashii for three
gakki, and I
wasurerued
kangae-kata. Without
kangaerareru, I
benjo o tsukaemasendeshita. It
sugoku warukatta desu! Now the
benjo is a very
kowai tokoro.
Although I think katakana looks very cool, I'm no fan of the Japanese's crazy reliance on loanwords.
“Hey, lemme borrow your bike. C’mon, I’ll give you some chips.â€
