Tanooki is my favorite. It pretty much always has been.

I did raccoon, super, and hammer Mario. I've never gotten that far in SMB3, so I don't know much about the tanooki and frog Marios. I could get further if someone wouldn't have left my game at a now-torn-down house. It was an accident, though. It cost me Super Mario All Stars and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. I got another SMW2 though!

Raccoon, Hammer, Tanooki.
Seriously. First time I played SMB3 and saw Mario grow a tail, I was thinking "Whoa. Cool." That image still exists in my mind today.
The Tanooki suit is self-explanitory. "Whoa, man! He's a raccoon! That turns into a statue!"
And the Hammer suit is just fun to mess with. And Mario throws hammers. Which makes for numerous (well, it's usually the same one over and over again) MC Hammer jokes.

Of course. I forgot about Kuribo's Shoe. I would of so voted for that.

Super Mario - Well, it's better than the squat version of Mario.
Fire Mario - Just classic.
Hammer Mario - Hammers rock and hammer rocks. (Ten points if anyone can figure out what I mean)

Look man,why would I put it on the title when you should always read the question before answering? The title can sometimes just sum up the question.

P-Wing Mario - Flying owns. Unlimited flying is even better.
Hammer Mario - He can kill just about any enemy.
Kuribo's Shoe Mario - ...hey, wait...why is this not an option in the poll?

Unfortunately, Tsugitomo, Dr. Mario is a spin off game, not a powerup. Just like you don't get a Kart to drive around in any other game than the Mario Karts.

Fire, invincible, and tanooki--in that order. As for Kuribo's shoe... well, I don't want whatever they were smoking when they came up with that, but I'd kill for it to be in a new game.

Press Down-B as Tanooki Mario. Now you're thinking with statues!

Kuribo's shoe isn't a major form. You can be any form of Mario/Luigi inside it.

Invincible mario is the coolest because you run real fast and all you have to do is run into enemys to kill them while racking up 1-ups!

Mine are the Hammer Suit, the Tanooki Suit and the Kuribo/Goomba Shoe.
