Is that, like, one of those sounds white people can't hear, or something?

ShadowBrian you're thinking of the Brown Note, a specific pitch that vibrates your organs and makes you involuntarily poop your pants. Not that any of you need outside help to do that.

I'm not sure if that's what Glorb meant, although he could have just made a typo.

That's what I thought at first too. I had typed up what a Brown Note was, but bobman37 said it more concisely. But there is such thing as a "Brown noise".

Either way, I still don't understand how it relates to 3DS not recommended to kids 7 or under.

I saw some sort of 3D Titanic film at the Titanic exhibit a long time ago. It worked, it was 3D, it was cool, but I was getting a headache shortly afterward. Either that or I was tired having heavy goggles strapped to my face.

The screen's depth can be adjusted, so it shouldn't pose too great a problem.

1. The "Brown Note" doesn't exist.
2. Virtual Boy doesn't cause problems when used correctly.
3. I wouldn't recommend video games in general to kids 7 or under anyway.
That was a joke.

A detail I should have included in my explanation.

I love it when people fall back on Mythbusters so they don't have to prove anything themselves. Not that that neccesarily applies here (I don't actually think the Brown Note/Noise is real, FYI), but people always pull that [dukar]. Even worse is when they just say Mythbusters proved/disproved it when in reality they never had it on the show.

They're the TV equivalent of Snopes.

They slammed a hunk of metal into a car so fast that the car was vaporized. We say they did things they've never done because they're legends. They can walk on water if they wanted to. And have.

And Snopes is flat-out cool.

Glorb: Isn't that the point of Mythbusters? To put myths to rest and solve disputes worldwide? And also to blow stuff up?

You miss my point. People will use Mythbusters as some sort of instant "I win!!!1" when it comes to a discussion of whether or not something is real. This is in spite of the fact that the show often does experiments under ridiculous, unrealistic conditions that are often different from the myth itself (or at least from its widely-known version). Even going through it a second time as they've been doing lately doesn't always help.
