"Sane people", huh? Suppose I'll just crawl back into my padded cell until later.

But really, then what of that Rihanna or whatever the kids are listening to these days? And let's not forget some sort of classification for pop standard singers like Frank Sinatra...

My favourite genres are classic rock and rock. Queen is the bes band ever. Some other bands I really like are Led Zeppelin, Lynard Skynard, Pink Floyd and Linking Park.
One Ring to rule them all. One Ring to find them. One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

I hate the term Classic rock, but I like most of the music so whatever. I'm starting to like alternative rock and punk, too. Alternative hip hop is also awesome.

Journey, Kansas, Asia, Dream Theater, and the soundtrack to Plok. Put those together and make a genre out of it and that'd be my vote.

Also the TWEWY soundtrack and Pillar. And a little bit of Powerline and Steve McClintock.

I'll take anything from the birth of rock 'n' roll in the mid-50's up until popular music's great dive into the crap vat somewhere during the mid-to-late-80's.

No offense. Unless you happen to enjoy contemporary radio programming, of course. My bad.

I really dig '80s music. Also, "hippie-rap" and "edgy children's music" should be choices. I mean, what else are artists like Laura Goldhamer supposed to be classified as?
What's your problem, Cambodian?

Rao, they're in "various other unclassifiable mashup genres," just like much of the The World Ends With You OST, a lot of They Might Be Giants stuff, and "Time Warp" by Brad Paisley.

Psychedelic Rock, Jazz, classical, Rock in general, but there are a few subgenres that I don't really care for.  And I like the various unclassified video game music.

I really enjoy almost any music from the 80's, some songs from They Might Be Giants, and random others as well. I don't really have a particualr classification of music that I listen to, unless game music counts.
Kinopio is the ultimate video game character! Who else can drive a kart, host parties, play tennis, give good advice and items, and is almost always happy??
