So I've had some time to think about it, and WFT's inclusion is no different from the Ice Climber's or Pit's in the previous game(s). They've all had one or two games before their SSB appearances.

The only problems that I still have with her are the fact that she's not a character from a game nor a mascot, which is what the SSB series is about.

But she might be fun to play as, and I don't have to use her if I don't like her.

So there. My two bits.

Don't you know how graphics affect the quality of a show?

The Wii Fit instructor's comic value justifies her presence entirely to me. Her voice direction for this is spot on, too. But I personally love how absurd it is, and the way it's presented.

Which characters do you suspect will get the axe?

Which characters do you suspect will get the axe?

-Ike
-Game and Watch
- hopefully ROB
-Lucario
-Toon Link
-At least one of the Earthbound characters
Now with grandeur.

Don't diss the ROB. Or the Mr. Game & Watch.

Why is Nintendo obsessed with ROB? He appeared on one game as a side character and now they're acting like he's practically Mario. He is one of the most OP characters in the game and doesn't even deserve an assist trophy, he's so obscure.

I don't see him getting two new titles a year not counting spinoffs.

He is one of the most OP characters in the game
LOL "OP"

doesn't even deserve an assist trophy, he's so obscure
The entire point of Assist Trophies is to give characters who aren't prominent enough to be fully playable their own chance to appear.

I'd hardly call one of the main selling points of their first home console release in western territories "obscure".

If I recall correctly, they added R.O.B. to the NES to be able to sell it in toy stores.
