Hm, I can't remember if the demo forced you to move forward in SMB style stages, but I could've sworn I backtracked several times when playing one. I could be missing something entirely, and it's a feature/hindrance that I just missed.

I DO know double jumping is eliminated from SMB mode.

I tried a demo at Target today. I wasn't really looking for anything in particular, but I liked what I saw.

I really liked the enemy customization. Being able to power them up presents a great creative spark in me.

Honestly, it took me a while to discover that too. X is the first game where I actually completed the Pokedex, sans stupid event legendaries.

I enjoyed it, but I was able to endure the entire movie length of the Rifftrax, which was awesome, as movie criticisms/jokes go.

I asked Sapph to change my name once, to better reflect my interest in my favorite character. In hindsight, it was an incredibly pointless request. I don't even imagine how to refer to myself here, since I started going by the variant of my real name, "Maysun," on the internet lately.

That might be a better choice, but I'd probably think it a pointless request in ten years (that's how long it's been, I think) as well. Any mods that actually feel like doing that can feel free to change it, but I have no serious qualms with the way things are, honestly.

I'm happy about this game. I sort of hope for a Paper Mario Wii U title somewhere down the road, but this looks great.

I wish that the Mario and Luigi series felt as "new" as its first game, but they tend to reinvent some aspects of the series, which is pretty cool. This looks to be the weirdest/most different game in the series. I just liked the BeanBean Kingdom environment. The series hasn't taken me anywhere too new lately, aside from Dream Team.
