I ended up with mine after inadvertently sending someone at TMK a chain email. I have since stopped passing on chain emails.

[MB:] I don't know how you got that impression... Cougar Gold is a popular tinned cheese made by WSU. I guess for me, it's a reference to being at WSU. And maybe something about being cheesy, or gold.

How would "Cougar Gold" be interpreted that way?

And that's pretty funny, actually! Gold might infer some sort of target or goal. I'm not going to change it, though, because that's a pretty minor coincidence.
