I'm the first one of the quartet.
I have three children of my own,
After them, I'm departed.

A man was found murdered one Sunday morning.
His wife immediately called the police.
The police questioned the wife and staff and was given these alibis:
The Wife said she was in bed reading a book.
The Cook claimed she cooking breakfast.
The Gardener claimed he was planting seeds.
The Maid claimed she was getting the mail.
The Butler claimed he polishing the silver.
The police instantly arrested the murdered. Who did it and how did they know?

Well, he was found Sunday morning, which leaves a possibility that he could've been killed Saturday night.
But that makes no sense and is quite unlikely. Great job!

There really aren't "turns" here, but I agree, I was a bit rude going and making up a new riddle.

Are you talking about before the flood? I would hazard a guess that it's probably Cain, because he killed his brother, who was the son of Adam and Eve, who were the first two people. Unless you're referring to something else, in which case I just completely made a fool out of myself.
