I will start off by posting a song name. The next poster has to put a song that has at least 1 word that's the same in the title as the previous song that was posted, and so-forth. Only rules, no using a song title with only one word, and no posting the same exact song as the previous person.
for example:
Poster 1: Sunshine of your love - Cream
Poster 2: love hurts - Nazareth
So I guess I'll start.

As far as I and Google are aware, CCR never recorded a version of "American Woman". Most likely you downloaded an incorrectly-labelled version, methinks.

This (http://www.lyrics.com/search.php?keyword=american+woman&what=all) website tells me the version that I knew has infact been the CCR version.
-
Lyric sites are notorious for misattributing songs. Searching for CCR's supposed version of "American Woman" only turns up results from file-sharing sites which also think AC/DC sang "Born To Be Wild" and Bob Marley recorded "Don't Worry, Be Happy".
