Can someone tell me how to seperate sprites? Whenever I try to copy a single character off a sheet, the whole sheet goes on the program, and that won't work for the comic. Please Help.

Copy and paste the sheet into Paint and select the sprite you want...
If that's what you were already doing, or you don't have Paint, I have no idea.

Two words: Adobe Photoshop.

Why use Photoshop for copying a character off a sheet? o_o That'd be like using a monster truck to drive to church on a Sunday; sure, it does the job, but is it really necessary?

Um, how do I get Photoshop? (Me stupid)

Pay Adobe $1000.

Or get GIMP.
-
Or get Paint.NET. I think the main problem here is lack of basic knowledge of how to use paint programs.

MS Paint sprite separation tutorial:
1. Either copy the entire sheet into Paint, or save the sheet to your computer and then open it.
2. Look at the tool box (that's the sidebar with the fill bucket, etc.); at the top, there should be a rectangle made of fragmented lines, as well as another shape next to it.
3. Select one of the above.
4. Use your mouse to trace around the sprite you desire.
5. Cut/copy as necessary. If you want to save the sprites to their own files, select 'Copy To' from the Edit menu (if you wish to do this, I'd recommend using the PNG format).
