Looks like one of Jocelyn Wildenstein's friends.

I was thinking the same thing, and others evidently agree:

This might go in YA,YL but I don't think there are enough Metroid fanboys besides me for it to have much of an impact (pretty sure it's fake, by the way).

Nintendo is pretending it didn't exist in Super Metroid, and presumably Other M, since Samus actually has all (or at least most) of her power ups from the beginning this time.

So Glorb extremed this time?

Samus actually has all (or at least most) of her power ups from the beginning this time.

The beginning of Metroid Prime started that way too.

The beginning of Metroid Prime started that way too.
She had a small number of her upgrades.  A few missiles, the Morph Ball, Bombs, the Varia Suit, and the Grapple Beam, if I remember right.

This time, she has nearly all her power ups.  She doesn't lose them in a fluke explosion or an Ing attack; rather, she chooses not to use them until Adam Malkovich authorizes it.
