Zeno Clash is, kinda, but not in the normal way. You can download the GMod models from the game free of charge straight from the devs, but it doesn't count as a "Source Game" by Steam's Garry's Mod definition.

Just because TK's not in a situation to throw down wads of cash on every Big Man AAA PC Game he comes across doesn't mean he's acting like a spoiled brat. The dude wants to be able to use stuff he owns to the fullest extent, whether or not he paid for it, and I have to agree, it's a bit of a foul-up on Valve's part.

I love when you throw yourself into arguments and attempt to undermine another person's thoughts.

What's so hard to understand about one company rewarding actual customers instead of people who come by for freebies?
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

Valve should warn players beforehand that free games aren't eligible for benefits.

They do. It's right there on the GMod page in plain sight.

Anyway, onto complaining about something I paid for: East Jesus Nowhere for RB2. Anyone else have problems downloading that song?

Maybe your 21st century game console had a breakdown.

Well, I've already complained about how the Nyko dual-port charging station for Wii remotes sucks balls, and started sucking balls right after I wasn't able to return it.

Now, it has finally taken a huge crap. Oh, it still charges. However, no matter what I do, it charges a completely dead remote for about 5-10 seconds, and then switches the LED to green indicating a full charge. For some reason, now that this problem has come up, the first port (which stopped working altogether sometime back) is now suddenly working and exhibits the same problem.
Formerly quite reasonable.

Well, here's the thing: Thrice I selected "Download", thrice it confirmed that and showed a loading bar backing it up the SD card... and when I go back, it just says "Purchased". That's almost the same thing as "Downloaded", but almost only really counts in... well, you know.

Curses! I bought the sixth Penny Arcade book the other day, and they've just now implemented a 10% discount code! (on account of the warehouse being moved)

That's $1.50 you'll never see again!

Wait... book six??? *checks* Wow, they stealth released that shiz. And you just saved me a buck fifty HA-HA-HA!

Speaking of Penny Arcade, Monday's post struck me as very odd for this reason: Tycho took StarCraft II to task for not changing its forumla at all or learning anything from the innovations of other RTS over the last decade and basically tricking people into thinking it's good with massive amounts of polish. He said Blizzard's release was on the verge of "cowardice". Yet: just last week he heaped mountains of praise upon Dragon Quest IX, a game with its "gameplay" ripped literally STRAIGHT from 1988. What the hell, man.
