Apparently, this game warrants its own thread, so... Discuss away.
To start, I'm surprised at how well the whole "yarn" theme is woven throughout the very fabric of the game. Also, as mentioned before, Epic Yarn often plays as though it's cut from the same cloth as Yoshi's Island. Despite that, it stays true to typical Kirby style by being too easy: You can't die, and the game often throws you a proverbial line whenever you seem stranded. Overall, I'd say it's worth a spin.

I played a bit of it and it seemed fun enough to buy. The car segments and stuff do indeed remind me of Yoshi's Island a lot, which is good. It's a lot better than I was expecting from the trailers.

Meh.
Another high point of Epic Yarn is its music: Each of the game's forty-odd levels has its own musical theme, all but six or seven of which are original. The entire soundtrack centres around piano, and is therefore inherently reminiscent of the Peanuts theme:

Not that music's going to be the make or break factor of this game for me, but I'm glad to hear they're apparently not going the traditional Kirby route, which is to remix the same half-dozen songs from the first couple of games.
-
Oh, they remix old themes, too. And they're awesome.

Congratulations, you've triggered one of my pet peeves! For the record, it's called "Linus and Lucy."

Yeah, but it's not going to make up the bulk of the soundtrack, is what I'm saying.

I did actually really appreciate the pun-laden OP, until you ruined it by complaining no one commented on it. Approval revoked. :(

Story of my life (except for 'one reply' thing, sometimes). Keep making puns, someone will appreciate them. :)
I am not usually one to judge a game by how it looks, but I initially thought Kirby's Epic Yarn was too cute. Now that I know it's more like Yoshi's Island, maybe I'll get to play it sooner.
