Rush Limbaugh is the man. I can't ignore the fact he once was a borderline obese drug addict, but he isn't anymore (as far as I know) so I can safely say he is currently the man. Both literally and figuratively. Mark Levin is pretty okay.

Sean Hannity and Joe Scarborough are whiney, and Glenn Beck is just plain insane.

Also i'm pretty sure Keith Olbermann is the biggest ******bag on the face of the earth. He's a classic example of a giant tool in his 50s who insistently tries to appeal to the young'ins because he can't accept the fact he's almost dead.

Juan Williams on Fox News is awesome though. I like him because he's a democrat but he's a fair democrat and actually thinks intelligently about his own opinions rather than blindly following the dogma of his political affiliation.

Mann Coulter is possibly the most ignorant person in history. She respresents everything wrong with right-wingers, and the fact people consider her some sort of beautiful, conservative goddess... ughhh... it makes me want to vomit a little. I think it's been proven she has a penis.

General Chat / Re: TMK Board Reform/"Down the Crapper" Prevention
« on: September 30, 2009, 10:04:26 PM »
There are many forums which haven't fallen into disarray. Just because you haven't been to them doesn't mean they dont exist. For example, check out swayforum.com to see a small community type of message board which hasn't degenerated into a deviant [dukar]storm of memes and flaming.

While I can somewhat agree with Trainman here, I also have to take into account the only times I thought this forum was great was when I was about 15 years old, and back when I was 15 years old I was a loser and an imbecile. So either the forum truly has degraded, or it's always been like this and I just hadn't noticed until the last couple of years when I was old enough to realize it was bad.

Also, I think it'd be funny if this message board was closed.

Not at the Dinner Table / Re: Obama care

I know the bailout was started last administration, I'm not stupid. I said that Bush was criticized for accepting the bailout and being fine with it, but meanwhile its sister, the stimulus package, is being readily accepted by a lot of people who complained about Bush signing off on TARP.

In that same line, I never said liberalism isn't about big government. I'm stating that many democrats criticized Bush for many of his liberal-esque actions, but when Obama does the same, he's President Rico Suave.

Well apparently you're just hanging out with the dumbest people on earth then.

In a Journalism course I took last year, the professor pointed out a survey he conducted at various colleges which included the question "Who is your favorite journalist?"

The most popular response was Jon Stewart.

Not just the bailout, just the fact he spent money carelessly himself. Military, undercover programs too. Many people who criticized him for it also likely voted for Obama, who is now spending even more money and further extending the federal government's power.

Get a grip Chupperson. I was referencing the fact that people instantaneously proclaim POST OF THE YEAR everytime they see a funny.

I bought two Sega Geneses with a handful of games and a controller. Next on the list I need to get myself a Super Scope.

I think you're confused. Democrats are supposed to spend money helping the public. That's what liberal means. Republicans are the ones who were forced to become what they hate.

No, I wasn't implying that democrats don't spend money. I was implying that they were behaving just the same as Bush did in terms of federal expansion, making them the same as him in that department essentially.

Refuse to smoke pot with someone on any grounds other than that you're busy? Suddenly you're a prudish moralizing nerd. It's practically the same thing with shrooms, too, at least where I live.

Yeah Glorb, I dunno who you're hanging out with but I've never had that problem. Anytime I've ever been asked if i wanna smoke it I usually just say "Nah I'm good." and that's the end of it. If you play it cool then there's no reason for these potheads to call you a 'prudish moralizing nerd.' If worse comes to worse, grab a beer and use that as your excuse.

While I don't particularly care for Jon Stewart, that video was funny. Glenn Beck is entertaining but that's it. He's just entertaining. Nothing more.

See now that there is a post you could say is Post of the Year material.
