(My vote was the third option, despite the fact that it's a picture of waffles and only waffles.)

Waffles are usually better than pancakes, but both are good, especially when they're made well.
-
NOM NOM NOM
-
They're both good. As Solid said, the most important part is that you make them well.
-
Waffles kick the syrup out of pancakes.
I like my food hi-tech.

WAFFLES ALL THE WAY!!!
-
Depends what I'm in the mood for.
-
I like the crispy exterior of waffles*. Mmm, waffles.
*good waffles are like that
-
Pancakes are usually soft, and are hard to eat with a fork, while waffles are much more crispy.

Wow this may be one of the most difficult polls to answer on this forum in ... maybe ever.
-
Gigantic waffles made from a waffle maker are the best breakfast item I can think of.
-
it is impossible to decide
I love them sooooo much

Yeah, it really makes you think. =3
-
Waffles. Definitely waffles.

Heck yes. I love getting those at hotels for breakfast... I need one of those waffle makers for home.
And yeah, waffles.
-
I hate answering a poll, looking up at the results, and finding that I was the only one who voted for a category when there was an overwhelming majority voting for another. Pancakes, however, are FTW.
-
I was suddenly reminded of the blooper in the first MST3K Poopie tape where Joel walks in holding a plate of waffles and, after several seconds of eating them, starts to say his line, but says "Pancakes" instead of "Waffles," then immediately catches his mistake and walks off stage. Believe me, it's a lot funnier when it's not just being clinically described.
Anyway, W is for Win. I can't get any satisfaction from breakfast if there's not something crunchy. Pancakes with fruit or chocolate chips inside of them will suffice, but if it's just regular flat soft pancakes versus waffles at just the right position on the Moh's scale, there's no contest in my mind.
However, if there's some good bacon, pancakes are acceptable, but they have to at least be banana pancakes.
-
Waffles are awesome because they exist in frozen form.

I have them when I don't feel making some with the waffle machine.
I prefer Waffles, also.
-
Man, Vid makes the best polls.
I like each very much, but I like waffles a bit more, especially the frozen kind. I like pancakes more without syrup.
L'eggo my Eggo!

That's because I actually THINK before creating any FF thread. XP

Those shouldn't even be considered waffles.
-
Those shouldn't even be considered waffles.
They're acceptable. But I really only have them when I'm too lazy to make them in the waffle maker (As I said above)
-

Well when you're too poor to even own a waffle iron, Eggo (or any frozen waffle) is pretty much the only alternative.
I find both fresh and frozen waffles delicious, which is a rarity for me, because I detest most frozen foods that only require heating in an oven or microwave.

ProTip: Don't post about being too poor to own a waffl (http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/602-0380186-5075831?ASIN=B0002YTFXM&AFID=Froogle&LNM=B0002YTFXM|Waffle_Iron&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=B0002YTFXM&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001)e iron in the same week you post about having problems with your HDT (http://www.keenzo.com/showproduct.asp?M=PHILIPS&ID=916914&ref=GB)V.

I should probably get a waffle iron soon, since I've only had real waffles at restaurants.

ProTip: Learn the calendar, I spoke about the (not my) TV more than a week ago.

Both, but I have preferences. With waffles, it's either Belgian or no; with pancakes, it simply must be buttermilk style. Anything else and I hurl my plate at the wall and slap whoever's serving me.

Waffles are amazing. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtlaTNI1TaU)

My god that song is annoying.

Soft, fluffy pancakes for me. I love both, however.

I have my answer, finally.
BACON > both.

BACON > both.
Well duh. We all know that. But you answered the wrong question.

BACON < both.

In after another useless quoting. Also 4chan.

TEM is so brainwashed he thinks "in before" is a 4chan thing.

I'm a pancake man through and through, though I won't say no to the occasional, well-done waffle.
*Starts blasting "Waffle King" from a boombox*

Waffles taste better than pancakes, despite the fact that they are made from basically the same batter. I can way more waffles than I can pancakes.
-
Waffles? In a can?!?!
...No, that's not a good idea.
-
Waffles are so good, I give hotels ratings based on the amount of waffle irons they have in their free breakfast, and we avoid the One Waffle Iron hotels and go for the Two Waffle Iron hotels.

LOL... that struck me as funny.
BTW, I seem to be in the minority on this; I like pancakes, but, like Glorb, if the waffles are Belgian, I prefer those any day.
-
I like waffles, because they don't absorb the toppings you put on them. (not that I have anything against pancakes)
-
Waffles; they're simple, crunchy and the syurp makes them even tastier.
-
Waffles. I like the taste better. Isn't that what makes food better than others?
