Is he making a vulgar gesture?  It looked to me like he was just pointing his index finger...

People, that's his ear. Nothing more to see here. Move along.
Kinopio is the ultimate video game character! Who else can drive a kart, host parties, play tennis, give good advice and items, and is almost always happy??

2005 was the obvious height of the Fungi Forum's glory. It had a rough n00bfest beginning, slowly matured to epic glory and fun, then went into slow decline with important people gradually leaving, then slipped off a cliff and suffered serious brain damage circa 2009.

2005 brought us Khold and SushieBoy. Those two alone were miles above the rest of the members that joined that year.

2005 was also the year the IRC in-jokes ran afoul all over the board, but that's a debatable subject anyway.
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

That means I joined before this place hit its prime.  This place was a lot of fun back then, but I haven't been around enough in the last couple of years to truly enjoy the modern FF.
I always figured "Time to tip the scales" was Wario's everyday motto.

Yeah, I joined the forums in '05 and they were super awesome. After a couple months into 2006 they started sucking. Now I don't even have words to describe them.

SushieBoy was miles (and miles and miles and miles) below everyone else.

Best be trollin' boy.

He was funnier than MaxVance at least.

I just remember him being really super annoying. Much like Mr. Melee and SolidShroom, except the latter two got better eventually.

Well everyone was funnier than Max Vance.

I may not be able to embrace the societal norms that have taken over the FF, but some of the wit available here really strikes my fancy. MaxVance was funny in a sort of Little Big Brother way.

This board was ever good?

News to me.

It was never good, there were just periods of time where it didn't suck so much. Late 2005 to mid 2006 is when it sucked the least.

Anyone remember Game Over? He made me laugh and lose all the time.
