Okay, here's how this game goes: I start a fake rumor and you guys all improve on it, or create some of your own!

Yesterday (October 4th, 2001), Nintendo announced that they are cancelling the GAMECUBE! Instead, Nintendo plans to revive the DreamCast by making games for it; and they are planning on porting all of the GAMECUBE games to the DreamCast! That's right... Luigi's Mansion, Smash Bros. Melee, Pikmin, Mario Sunshine, etc. are all going to be made for the DreamCast!

Not only that, but Nintendo has also announced that they are in talks with Sega about creating a Sonic the Hedgehog/Mario RPG game TOGETHER! Mario and Sonic on the same game!

Even more good news, Nintendo has announced to combine their Zedla series with Sega's Phantasy Star Online series to create one giant RPG hybrid!

Today Nintendo just announced a recall on all copies of Mario's Picross. Players complained that puzzle A-4 of Kinoko Course was impossible to do. They had accidentally prgrammed a 6 when it should've been a 5! People were amazed at how long it took them to see the error. Nintendo will rerelease Mario's Picross with no errors. There will also be a special GBA edition of Mario's Picross with bigger puzzles (20x20 as opposed to 15x15)!

Good one. You get the idea! Now here's another one...

BREAKING NEWS:
Nintendo has just announced that they will be making "Pokemon Hangover" for Game Boy Advance. The game will be a cross between "Conker's Bad Fur Day" and previous Pokemon games! You can now see all of your favorite Pokemon get drunk and kick each other's a.sses! Here are some of the new features to this exciting new game:

Pokemon are caught in bars, instead of PokeBalls!

Upgrade every Pokemon to level 100 and get them extremely drunk... then watch as they battle each other in an all-out free-for-all slugfest!

Points are earned when one of your Pokemon either has a dreadful hangover, or passes out due to the amount of alchohol in his body!

New features also include:

Voice acting by real drunks!

Swearing by that cuddly adorable Pikachu!

Blood and gore!

And more!

Watch out for this new game to hit store shelves on October 28!

"Pkemon Hangover"...
Created by the folks who brought you "The Death Of Mario"!

Talking about GBA, Nintendo announced a new mario sport game: Mario Soccer!  A very cartoonish soccer simulation, with Mario carachters as teams (a team of Mario's, a team of Luigi's....)  and some power ups can be found on the pitch. New items will replace old ones.  Spaghetti will replace Mushrooms and pizzas will replace coins.
It's-a tasteful, isn't it?
More fun will be provided by Lakitu as the match ref. Instead of awarding fouls, he will throw Spiny's around the field or going fishing for players and carrying them away instead of sending them off.

It's-a penalty kick!

Mario Polo!
Yes, that's right, Camelot is coming out with another Mario sports game, and this time it's everyone's favorite sport, polo! But instead of horses, the players ride Yoshis! Mario Polo: coming April 2002.

It's not a matter of optimism or pessimism, it's a matter of common sense! (half empty or half full?)

At last, Nintendo did it: Super Mario Open Source will be soon available for FREE download on the web (check out http://www..it )
It's a complete level editor for Mario games, from SMB trought SMW, you'll be able to make your own levels and play them on your PC.
The Nintendo marketing staff stated that "our new product is designed to spread around the world the efforts we put into our games. We tought that is not fair to make our customers waste their money on old Mario games"

It's-a penalty kick!
