Looks like you need a recap of Fungi Forums events. 

• Forum Games and Stories was split into Fan Creations and Forum Games (posts in the latter no longer count) in July of 2007.
• A fellow named Super-Jesse joined the staff for a while and did a great job finding various bits of Mario news and dumping them into Game Blog, but he left several months later (presumably) due to real-life issues.
• Lizard Dude was taken off the TMK staff and demoted to "regular" user; on the other hand, Bird Person is now a moderator.
• Deezer banned political discussion for a while, but he re-allowed it after much demand from most of the rest of the forums. It is now allowed in Not at the Dinner Table, which has become something of a catch-all for various "controversial" issues.
• As with the usual progression of time, TMK celebrated birthdays and the forums held the ADVANCED Poster Awards each year.

It's not too early for a.. baby X-ray (I know there's a term for this but I can't think of it at the moment), but it is too early for us to determine the sex of the baby with said X-ray. The doctor did put a medical device up to her tummy, and we heard.. a heartbeat!!!

You're thinking of an ultrasound.

I admire the Libertarian Party's extreme pro-civil rights view. They say that the government's only responsibility is to protect its citizens, but I wonder how much power the corporations would get under the lack of regulation that is favored by the Libertarians.

Mind you, I would also want a reliable sword or other melee weapon for when the ammo runs out.

Stabbing weapons won't do much good against the undead since they have no blood, and hacking off their limbs may slow them a little but they will still be going. You should look into various blunt weapons (hammers, maces, and the like) for maximum brain-crushage.

Of course, by the time you're in melee range, the zombie swarm will take you down unless you can get them separated.

I don't play it, but I do that know a few people here (such as TEM and Captain Jim) do play. As with other online games, it's best to look in #tmk for other players.
