Regarding the Wii, one problem with it is the nontraditional controls. Where the DS still has all the same buttons that the SNES had (thus making it similiar to most of the other controllers in gaming history) in addition to its touch screen and microphone, the Wii Remote is built entirely around its motion-sensing ability, with the D-pad and a few buttons basically thrown on there. Thus developers are even more compelled to use this (dare I say it?) gimmick in their games.

I also agree with SolidShroom about the DS being better overall.

How surprising! I am also a "regular" reader of the Uncle John's Bathroom Reader series. Over the past year or two I have bought 13 of the books in the main series, all of which I keep in my bathroom.

I thought I was hilarious when I made that post. Little did I expect the events of the next two years! Bird Person (as he was named at the time), continuing to irregularly draw this "webcomic" of his, brought relative fame to the Fungi Forums after the people of the Internet began noticing it. Though the changes to our forum's userbase were not welcomed by all, a few of the old members remain to this day.

I still have yet to learn the names of all the new people here. College has taken its toll on me....

Site Discussion / Spammers are attacking the Fungi Forums

Since November 10th, someone has been registering on these forums accounts that are clearly meant for spam purposes. Even though none of them are posting, they are still cluttering up the member list and links to their sites are in their profiles. Perhaps their overseer set them to post threads, but has yet to notice that they are not doing anything? Or is this person preparing for an attack via private messages? Either way, something should be done about them.
