During Nintendo's third quarter financial results briefing, it was announced that the upcoming animated Mario movie is currently scheduled for release in 2022. In related news, the Nintendo World expansion to Universal Japan should be opening in 2020.

Yeah, and Immuniation is making the movie. No wonder what is next for Mario on the big screen. Hope it is animated unlike Sega's movie!
