Is the above image rotating clockwise or counterclockwise?

If it's rotating clockwise you are currently left hemisphered (logic, analysis).

If it's rotating counterclockwise you are right hemisphered (emotions and intuition).

I always knew my neurological traits would one day be accurately judged by a .gif.

It was going clockwise, then the instant I voted and the page refresh flashed it was going anticlockwise.

Kinopio is the ultimate video game character! Who else can drive a kart, host parties, play tennis, give good advice and items, and is almost always happy??

Depending on where I'm looking with the second one I can force myself to see it always go on the far side from me. Mostly if I watch the hoof, it's harder with the the scarf/hat. First one I can switch how I see it whenever it gets to a side position.

Do you see arrows pointing right or left?  What about in the second color reversed image?

My eyes primarily followed the grey arrows in both.

I voted for counter-clockwise.
Then later it seemed like it was going clockwise and I can't switch back.

I need more data, but after a few days trying I'm noticed that if I look at the rotating figure I posted first it will appear to rotate clockwise and so will the pony, but if I look at the pony figure first it will appear to rotate counterclockwise and so will the original figure.  Maybe the pony figure somehow triggers my creative/emotional right brain.  Anyone notice something like this?

Also, right or left:
