I mentioned this before, but no one mentioned if it worked for them. Use your timed attacks and defenses to the max. Nintendo did not mention the timed special for Peach's or Mallow's healing techniques. Mallow's HP Rain(rarely used) is timed right before the cloud fully disappears. For Peach, right before the healing aura diminishes, or right before the reviving star comes in contact with your downed ally. You can defend against ANY physical attack, with the exception of explosives(bullet bills, bombs), or magic attacks. To defend against magic and those certain physical attacks, you would already have to be in the defense position. Even so, you still take half of the damage. To differentiate between magic and physical, look for the stars that appear on you attacked character. Stars=physical, no stars=magic. That ends my vast knowledge of the game for now. I'm trying to get 100 super jumps(at 46 now...). Must equip Peach with the Super Jacket! I would like to compare my characters' level 30 stats with other people, so I'll be back with those.
