Author Topic: Mario Kart Game Cube characters (Read 7286 times)

I've lurked around here for a while, so I know what's um...yeah. Anyway, I was wondering what people's ideas are for the character line-up for the Mario Kart game for Game Cube; my idea is have the same 8 characters that appear in MK64 and MK:SC, but have 4 hidden characters, which would be: Koopa (or little koopa, you know, the amazing character from SMK), Baby Mario (that guy rules, but his voice does not), Donkey Kong Jr. (Hey, he appeared in Mario Tennis, why not Mario Kart again?), and some other heavy-weight character (Kamek? Because Kamek is amazing) to balance it all out, but these are my ideas, and what do I know, I'm stupid, so I doubt my ideas will be used, but then again, Mario Tennis around 18 characters, right?

I'm thinking that Mario Kart GameCube will have the same eight players in it as with Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart: Super Circuit. Although it gets me angry because I liked the setup of Super Mario Kart better.

What I WOULD like to see for Mario Kart GameCube:

Mario / Luigi / Peach / Toad / Yoshi (can't forget him!) / DK / Wario / Bowser / DK Jr. / Koopa (my second fave) / Kamek

Plus, if I were to have my way, I'd like to see the rest of the Mario Tennis characters in it, like Waluigi / Baby Mario / Birdo / Boo / Paratroopa (my fave in Mario Tennis / Shy Guy.

And can't forget Boshi from Super Mario RPG!

Myself, I would prefer the original 8 from MK:SC and 4 secret players.

Mario/Luigi/Yoshi/Toad/Peach/Wario/DK/Bowser

Secret: Waluigi/ DK Jr/ Kooa Troopa/ and Daisy!
No one else wants Daisy? She would be a great addition to the team!

Oh,I got it! in mario cart for gamecube,i think there would be all classic 8 charaters from MK64 and MKSC and 1 new charater,hmmm..... let me think...ok! i got it! the koopa troopa from SMK!

Well I"d like to have the normal 8 characters in MK64. Secret charaters can be: Koopa,Waluigi,Dasiy and DK.JR

I do hope that more than the eight characters are in this game though...
Mario Tennis was cool with its 16 characters.

Indeed. 16 should be minimum. Still only compete with eight in GP mode, but have at LEAST 16 possible choices. You know what I mean?

Yeah, i agree. Although a race would only feature 8 characters, the possible 16 to chose from would be cool.
Even have the characters automatically set to which races they would compete in, that way you wouldnt have to pick computer racers. Or just have it random....
