Forum Games / World RPG: The biggest RPG ever!

I'm really......really......board. So I've decided to make a really......really.......big RPG! As usual, everyone can join if they want, but here's the twist: You can be anyone in the entire pop-culture, or real world universe! Anyone! The bad guys are up to you to decide, after everyone has picked their characters. Yes, you CAN be Mario. I don't want to be him, so he's up for grabs. And yes, you can be......oh, I dunno. Jesus Christ if you want to! It'll be great, as long as everyone who joins is willing to  participate. The story will start as soon as everyone joins....mabey 6 people or so.



I think I'll be...........Mickey Mouse. (The Kingdom Heart's version.)

MICKEY MOUSE

STARTING HP: 20
STARTING FP: 10
ATTACKS:

Keyblade: 3 damage

Magic Lightning: 4 damage (2 FP)

Heal: Heals all members 5+ (4 FP)



After 4 battles, each character will level up. You can do one of the following.......

1. 5+ to HP or FP.
2. Upgrade old attacks. EX: Mickey's heal will heal 7+ instead.
3. Add one new attack (Each character has 3 additional attacks.)

Finding power-ups will also make your character stronger.


Each character has the option Defend. For that turn, you won't attack, but your defence will be upped +1.


This is gonna be fun, if we can get enough members to join. Hey, it doesn't say world RPG for nothing.

Like, did you find a 20 dollar bill on the floor today? Did you pass that stupid History test? And do you actually LIKE the trix rabbit?

Fan Creations / The Ultimate Showdown.

For those of you who have seen "The Ultimate Showdown," this will be much easier to understand. The object here is to make one big song with one character, and building it up to where a huge cast of characters are fighting each other. The sentences have to ryme, but they can't be too long, or else it'll sound funny. I'll start us off. (The characters don't all have to be Mario characters.)

I was thinking about making a bunch of random stories for my English teacher, just to show her what my FF pals and I could cook up. It's kinda like a big book of short stories for children, you know the type, no? The rules for the stories are..........

1. They must be about Mario.
2. They must have some kind of moral.
3. They can't be graphic or violent.
4. If it's not funny, that's fine, but I wanted to make the entire thing kinda hilarious........


If you post a story here, (be sure to correct it and everything) I will give credit to you in my book! My story will be the first..........




Mario the Man, and his band!

BANG! BOOM! Wario, the Mushroom Kingdom's local theif, was pulling a gigantic piano done the stairs, thinking he could get it into the garage himself. Today was the day he and his friends, Mario and Luigi were starting a band. Yoshi had even requested that he should be in with the gang. "I know how to play!! I know how to play," he replied with excitement. So Yoshi was added to the list as the whatever-he-played. "Okay, then," Mario proclaimed. "It's all set! Meet me at Wario's garage on Saturday, 10:00! Don't be late!" Wario had waited all week for this, but at the last second, he forgot which instrument he played. So he decided to hall down Waluigi's old piano he had stuffed away in the attic. Wario was trying to get it down. "*huff* *wheeze* When I was a kid, they didn't make them so heavy!" Wario grunted all the way down, from the top, to the floor board. "Whatever happened to those real tiny one's with 8 or 9 keys that lit up and talked to you when you played them? This junk is outrageous!" After an hour or so, he finally got the piano in front of the garage door, which of course, was much smaller than the piano. Broke stair pieces had cluttered the floor. Luigi was already inside the compact perimeter, when he noticed Wario was standing with the giant instrument by his side. Luigi sighed. "I thought you were gonna play a flute or something........"
"I was? So that's the instrument I was going to play!!"
Luigi was not suprised that this had happened. Pointless things like this happened to Wario every day. So he screamed, "Get it out then!!!" Wario's responce fell short of what Luigi wanted. "I-I-I think I fogot where I put it....." Wario stuttered. "It was next to my sandwich the last time I-BELCH! A!
Luigi was baffled by Wario's odd sounding burp. "Wait, do that again," he asked.
"Burp! G!"
A wide grin planted itself on Wario's face. "I can sing AND burp my ABC's! That's awesome! Now if only I could actually learn HOW to say my ABC's...."
"You idiot, you just ate your flute! It was sitting by your sandwich, and you thought it would be funny to take a bite, eh?!" Luigi's face was bright red.
"No, no, it was a mistake," Wario cried. "Here's my flute, right here!" He opened a case, revealing a ham sandwich, mustard and all. "Oh, neat, a sandwich," he said, taking a bite. Luigi tried to ignore Wario's stupidity while setting up his own instrument: a violin. He took it out, plucked a few strings and set it back down. Mario and Yoshi would be arriving soon, so being in tune was top priority. "I just can't wait to begin practicing our classical band! It'll be perfect! I can just see success, pouring out it's wonderful rays of light on my face and saying-." Before finishing his extremley boring speech of how great his band, who hadn't even had one dress rehearsal, was going to be, Luigi spotted Wario out of the corner of his eye.  Wario had a ghostly blank stare on his face, as his mind tried to grasp the simple concept: " The door's too small, you idiot! The door IS TOO SMALL!" Luigi opened his mouth to say something to him, but Wario's hand came up to try and shut him up. "There's a problem here......." he mumbled to himself. Luigi was tempted to let him figure that out on his own. It was just too hilarious to pass up, so he shut his mouth and kept tuning. Finally, after 10 minutes or so, Wario's face lit up with shock. "The door's too small," he claimed. "Oh, so what ELSE is new?" Luigi laughed with a sence of irony. He plased his hand on his face and tried to aproach the situation in a calmer attitude."Well, yeah......of course it is. We were expecting you to play the flute," he sighed. Luigi turned away and let Wario move the piano back up to the darkness of the attic. Wario, however, had no other options, as he had wanted to be in a band for a while now. Taking the piano by the legs with all his might, he ripped the instruement through the miniature wall. Not suprisingly, the entire doorway (and instrument) were destroyed. Sitting amongst the ruble and dust was Wario and every broken key. His hands grasped the legs of Waluigi's piano. For a moment, everything was silent. Luigi knew that this was bound to happen, and screaming wouldn't help, so he simpley said "meh" and kept tunning. Wario gazed at the entire mess and laughed, " I fell sorry for the goon who's gonna have to clean this up!" Trying his best not to laugh, Luigi pointed his bow at Wario and commanded "Clean! Now!" Wario looked at the entire room and gasped, finally understanding something he had know for years. "Hey, I don't even now how to play the piano. I play a flute!" "Well duh," sighed Luigi. Wario reached int his pocket and took out an aged flute with ketchup clogging the holes where the sound came out. The tip was smuthered in old pickle bits and globs of mustard. There was even lettuce glued on to the end. "It's obvious," though Luigi, "that he tried to eat this once........." Although playing it was most likely impossible, Wario was going t try anyway. He put his lips on the piece, while siliva poured out from his mouth. Luigi had a terrible look on his face. "Blech........." With all his might, Wario blew into the flute. "SCRECCHHHAAAAAAAA!!!" The poor thing screamed. Confused, Wario questioned, "Now that can't be right. What's wrong with this thing?" At this point, Luigi was about to pull out a hammer and knock some sence into this bozo, who really hadn't played an instruement at all. Before he could though, a loud knock on the door filled the complex. "Who's ready to rock?!" Yelled a familar voice. The door flung open, revealing Mario and Yoshi in punk rock outfit's, make-up and all. Luigi, Mario and Yoshi just stared at each other, relizing they had not come up with what KIND of band they had actually wanted to perform. They all just laughed and walked home, thinking that a band may not have been the best idea. Wario was left sitting there, with his hand under his armpit.


3 Hours later.

"I don't get it," said Wario.


THE MORAL: Before you start a band, pick out intruments and genre BEFORE playing.

This topic is sorta like GG's Pokemon topic, instead, I gave tribute to Rare's greatest game, Banjo-Kazooie. I don't know if I'm the only fan here, so I guess I'll find out soon. Have you gotten all the Jigsaw pieces? Musical notes? What was your favorite world? Have you gotten the secret eggs and Ice key, thus unlocking the Stop 'n' Swop menu? (Yes, it's possible, 'cause I've done it.) Have you completed the Bottle Puzzles? Just explain everything right here, or you could come here just to talk about everyone's favorite bear and bird! Keep in mind that this is a Banjo-Kazooie topic, not a flame war over the Mario V.S Banjo-Kazooie thingie.

Mario Chat / Mario Strikers District Tourney.

I've got a cool topic for Aarom and all the other Mario Striker fans. It's a tourney, and we need 8 people. It'll go like this:

1. We pick our characters, and no two people can be the same.
2. We randomly face off againts each other, and the winner progresses to the next round.
3. The loser goes into the loser bracket.
4. The winner is decided by points you score in each game.
Example:

Aarom 11 is pitted againts PaperLuigi. They both play seperate games. They come back to the boards and state their game results. The guy with the most point difference wins.  If that is the same, the perfect passes will decide the result. If not that, then most hits will win.

Rules: There will be 6 place awards.
2. Double elimination. If you lose twice, you're out.
3. Don't lie about your game result. Tell the truth, man.
4. No two people can be the same character.
5. Also, the game level must be on Legend or Super star. It can't be easy, folks.
6. Sorry, but no Super Strikes! We gotta play fair.
Okay, I need 7 people. I will be the 8th. I want to be Luigi.

Okay, for a long time, I've been wondering. My goal on the FF was to write the greatest story ever. This may not be it, but I'm going to give it a shot. It's kind of a "what if" thing. What if Luigi hated Mario, and wanted the kingdom? What if someone else was helping him in his deadly mission for dictatorship? What if Yoshi became a hero? Welcome to the machine.


Part One

"I've always hated him. Ever since we were children, that idiot has continued to mock me." The Mushroom Kingdom Grand Police office was filled with criminals of the highest caliber to the average thrift store theif. You couldn't go a single step without running into a jerk who would give you a dirty look (or a spit on the shoe, for that matter.) In the middle of this great chaos was the kingdom's second greatest hero. He was driven to the point of insanity, for reasons yet to be explained. He continued his rant. "I'm telling you, the fool deserved to die. This dump is better off with out him."
"And why is that?" Asked the cheif Toad of police.
"Hehe......Why? I don't believe this. I suppose I was right about this pathetic kingdom."
The Chief stared at him in the eyes. It was late at night, and he wasn't in the mood for jokes. He took his night stick and beat the "criminal" over his head.
"I don't like games," yelled the chief. "Tell me why you killed him, or you'll be sorry."
The criminal snickered, with blood dripping from his nose. He didn't answer.
"Do you know who I am? I'm the authority in this whole darn place. I can have you put away for life. Or worse......"
The Chief continued to smack him with his night stick. Normally, someone would have stopped him, but no one had sympathy for the cursed soul. This went on for a couple of hours, until the "criminal" spoke out. Blood was all over the floor, a mess the janitor would have to deal with later.
"Why....didn't you kill me?"
"Eh?" The chief replied.
"My purpose in life is complete. I want to die."
Chief Toad laughed at him in disbelieve. He had never met someone so low before. He killed his own brother, and now he wanted to die.
"Rubbish. I'll kill you when you tell me why you did it."
"This place is dumber then I ever believed. Fine. I'll tell you everything."
It was silent in the room for a few seconds. The "criminal" was toying with the emotions of the chief. If anything, he wanted another wack from his stick.
"Spill it out, boy. I won't hit you until you tell me."
"The fool was a con. A phony, I'm telling you. Why do you think that Koopa kept coming back? It's because he wanted the fame, you idiot! Every time Koopa came back, he'd conveniently rise to defeat him. He didn't care about the Kingdom. He just didn't have the heart to kill the beast so that we'd live in peace. If you let me go, I'll destroy Koopa for good. The Kingdom is better off without the whole lot of them."
The chief ordered the rest of the crew to take the criminal to the electric chair. He had his information, so why keep him around? At 12:37 that night, he was executed. The two greatest hero's of the Mushroom Kingdom were gone forever.
"Gaahhh....what a night. Phone Yoshi and tell him the news. He's the successor. So put him on duty."
The chief sat down at his desk and sighed. He looked across his desk.
"Eh?"
A strange figure had walked into the room, with only a trench coat. His hat concealed his true face, so it was hard to tell if he was an enemy or not.
"Is he dead?" The strange man asked.
"Yes, executed 5 minutes ago."
The man said nothing. He threw down a bunch of papers at Chief Toad's desk.
"What the heck is this?"
"Oh, it's a distraction."
Sound erupted throughout the entire office. It was the sound of a gun shot, and it had been fired off by the man in the trench coat. Chief Toad's body lay on the floor. Blood covered the papers.
The man in the trench coat made his way into the room with the electric chair. A few gaurds spotted him the minute he walked in.
"Hey, you can't-"
Bang! The bodies hit the floor with a loud thud. They didn't move.
"What weaklings. I can't believe I have to save him from these losers."
Out of his coat, he held a 1-Up shroom. He gave it to the criminal's dead body, which was laid out on the chair itself.
Slowly, the criminal opened his eyes. He had died, and was alive again.
"Darn it. I wanted to kill those morons, but I didn't want an uproar. Looks like you did that for me. Eh, Sonic?"
The man took off trench coat, reviling his true face to be Sonic the Hedgehog.
"Come on, we have no time to lose. We have to get out of here and back to Koopa's before the entire force comes looking for us."
"Wait. Won't they be searching for the last Life Shroom? They'll use it to revive him, you know."
"That's why we must get there first. Hurry and get out of that stupid chair."
The two dashed out of the office, only to be confronted by the entire Mushroom Kingdom army.
The boss, who was atop a very huge tank, held out an over-sized microphone.
"Sonic the Hedgehog of Region 6, Zone Mobius, and Luigi Mario of Region 3, the Mushroom Kingdom! Did you have any participation in the murder of Mario Mario of Region 3, the Mushroom Kingdom?"
The two looked at each other and snickered. Luigi walked foward and screamed.
"We did it! We killed Mario!"
The boss gave a hand signal to the fleet and withdrew into his tank. He gave orders from a control unit inside the machine.
"Then prepare to die, villians!"
Luigi and Sonic took fighting stance, drawing in energy. No matter what happened, Luigi was proud of what he did. If it was his time, he would die with a smile on his face.
"Those cruel villians killed our hero! Remember that!" The boss gave out more orders to lock and load. All around the office, tanks, gunman and aircraft prepared to fire. It was now or never for Luigi.

Yeah, I know it's a little violent. But I had fun writing the first chapter, so please check out the next installment of "The Machine"! What is the machine? I won't tell you yet, so you'll have to keep reading.

Game Help / Those blasted 'Gator Goalies.....

Okay, in Mario Strikers, the goalies are gators, right? Is there any way to make them stronger? I mean, the scores at the end of many of my games are like 22-17! No one ever scores that much in a soccer game. They miss easy to catch kicks, and they get knocked out half the time. Is there a code of some sorts to make them a little less stupid?

Mario Chat / Playin' with the Mario Mix Dance Pad

The other day, I was playing DDR:MM. I got tired of it and put in Mario Strikers. Well, I forgot to take out the dance pad when the screen loaded, so I thought, "Why not try playing with the dance pad?" So I did, and it worked! I actually got a goal with Waluigi by holding the B button on the pad, but I lost 7-2. It's harder then it looks.........Anyway, I was wondering if you guys have tried playing with the dance pad. If so, what game? Was it harder then it looked?

On TMK, I read that the Yoshi and Mario trophy from SSBM could be earned with an Action Replay. What is an Action Replay? I must know, because that trophy looks pretty cool.

To anyone who is not home-schooled or graduated...what kind of EC activities are you involved in? It can be anything from a club of some sorts, or a music sort-of thing. Sports are included! Please forgive me if this has been done before, because I will close it myself.

The one's I'm in or have been in are........


1. Wrestling
2. Orchestra
3. Art

Not much, but at least I have some stuff to do.
