For the last month or so, a picture of a real-life looking Mario has been posted on the internet, but something was missing from that picture. While he did indeed look real, he didn't have that fire in his eyes that a real human being does. Well, a Deviant artist by the username of Portrix has decided to try and captivate that human essence by animating the Mario picture. The result? A really errie and disturbing version of Super Mario 64 start screen. I suggest you follow the link below at your own discretion.

<Kojinka> When I saw this thread back on top, I was afraid this was gonna be another pointless bump by a new member, but when I saw Super-Jesse's username, my fears were laid to rest.

The only think that looked wrong was his blinking... And his voice.

Oh God... he talks?

I second that.
But I know I'm going to have to watch it at least once before I die.

I don't see how people find it so frightening.

The creepiness increases the more one stares at this.

As creepy as this is, It's nowhere as near as freaky as Floating Mario Head from Mario Teaches Typing.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I'm with ShyGuy92. The realistic Mario never really disturbed me, and this animation doesn't either, not even with the voice.

THE HORRER!!!
Time is repeating itself. Why you say? Look at the Wii and NES and you'll know why.

Okay. So I went and looked at it because my curiosity got out of hand like it often does. All I can say is Mario looks the way he does in the games for a darn good reason.
