Title: SML2/Wario Blast Colorizations

It's been a while, but here's another colorization! (not that any of you were really on the edge of your seats waiting for another one...) The primary six pics are the map screens of Super Mario Land 2, with the Game Over Screen of Wario Blast thrown in. Credit goes to Biggoron (http://www.spriters-resource.com/nintendo/mario/platform/sml/display.php?file=2-zone.png) and MechaV (http://www.spriters-resource.com/nintendo/wario/gameboy/display.php?file=warblast.gif), respectively, of Spriter's Resource for ripping the original sprites.

Also, I have a colorization of the overworld map (from SML2, of course). This, among other things, was a "project" I started a while back that got erased when my old comp officially had to be "put down". When I went to restart it, so to speak, the sprite sheet was a slightly different (things come and go like that on the internet) one--by someone else, I'm assuming. Anyway, credit goes to A.J. Nitro (http://www.spriters-resource.com/nintendo/mario/platform/sml/display.php?file=worldmap.png) of Spriter's Resource for the ripping.

You might want to lose the yellow parts on the Mario Zone and Turtle Zone maps. Other wise, good-a job-a.

I figured the now-yellow parts on the Turtle Zone were supposed to be spotlights of a sort. As for the Mario Zone... well, I'm not totally sure what that big lump on his feet is (and the door, well, I wasn't sure whether I wanted it to blend in with his pants or not).

The big lump on his foot is... his foot (shoe).  This is obvious if you've played the game.

So he's got three feet?

I'm hoping to buy this game off the net eventually. I played a little bit of it once on my cousin's GB years back, and and I know pretty much everything about it from various media, but I've yet to really experience it.

His foot slides open to reveal the first level.

Heheh... the game over screen looks great.  All of them look great, but especially the game over screen for some reason.

Ah, that explains the black spot! Alright then.

These look great, especially the Macro Zone. It looks quite realistic and looks like Nintendo could've done it.

Fixed the shoe on the old one and added a new pic.

These are awesome. A lot of hard work was obviously put in to coloring them.
