oh God...

Not ANOTHER Mario Party?!?!?

oh well, I guess I will just have to live with it. As for the other games, I never expected SPM to go Wii.

As for getting a job, theres always room for McDonalds. (I guess =P)

I'm not a fan of the Mario Party games, but have bought several different ones.  Maybe that's insane.  Regardless, I plan to also buy any Wii Mario Party title.  I'm not sure if I'll be able to keep up my "buy every registerable Nintendo game/system" though.

To those of you who think that Mario Party has gone too far:

I rest my case.

Maybe he is saying that since there is no Mario Party collection they have not gone too far, but I think the Mega Man Anniversary Collection is one of the best things since sliced bread (on the PS2).  I'm not sure what it would have been better than before sliced bread though.

I have just been reminded how much I want a Mario Annverary Collection, with all the major NES, GB, and SNES Mario games on it. This list basically:

-SMB
-SMB2
-SMB USA
-SMB3
-SML
-SML2
-SMW
-YI

For the 8-bit games, there could be an option to play the original 8-bit version, or the 16-bit version from SMAS (I'd also love to see them make a 16-bit SML). There could also be an option to play a dumbed down easy version of each game, or a beefed up hard version of each game (as id SMB2J could get any harder). Lastly, they'd have to have hidden games. Preferably really obscure ones.

Iknow this is off topic, but for some reason I'm in the mood to write game ideas.

[offtopic]I MAKE game ideas. (They don't get very far though)[/offtopic]

Well, I don't know what else to say besides that Megaman has made a LOT of games which seem to be re-incarnations of themselves.

Also, there needs to be more true platformers. Too many spin-offs nowadays.

Anyone else reserved their Wii yet? I went yesterday at around 10 am and got mine "safely" secured.
(Even though their disclaimer reads that the reciept does not gaurantee getting a system available at launch...)

Even though I look forward for a Wii for Christmas, my sister advised me that I shouldn't get a Wii right when it comes out. I would have to wait and have it purchased at a later time (during mid-December maybe). The reason being is that there is the possibility that the first version of Wii could have some terrible defects, just like the XBox 360 had during its initial release (overheating and crashing were frequent problems, if I remember correctly). New versions would be released afterwards with the defects corrected.

Now, before all of you bludgeon me with clubs marked "Nintendo systems were never faulty at release wtd are you talking about", I am just saying this as a word of caution that I had received. Neither my sister nor I cannot predict the future. This is simply a hypothesis based on past events with other game systems ("none of the ones you are thinking about were made by Nintendo you ignorant swine").

I don't mind MP8 as long as it is better than MP's 5 & 7, especially 7 due to the enormous amount of 'luck' the computer seems to have. As for SPM, I would've prefered it for the GC rather than the Wii. Oh well....

I heard something on wikipedia that MP8 was going to continue with the same characters as MP7. Hopefully the they will add more.

I hope they make MP8 online.

Aww, they moved SPM to 2007. I thought I was going to get it really soon, then it got moved.
