So what Game Making program do you use? Do you use multiple ones, or do you have any at all? For me, I use Game Maker, ot was pretty easy for me to get used to, so I'm pretty good at doing stuff with it.
So what about you?
-
Any of the RPG Makers, but 2003's my fave.
-
True Basic.
-
Adventure Game Studio (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/) -- which I used to make the perpetually on hold Yoshi's World the Game!.
-
Of all the programs I've used I like DarkBASIC best. So much so that I bought an official copy and made a Super Mario Bros. / Super Breakout type game.
-
I tried to make an RPG, but got distracted by other random crap and forgot about it. Then my computer got virus'd sevreal moths later.
-
I'm partial to Multimedia Fusion, successor to The Games Factory and Klik 'n' Play.
I think it offers a good deal of power and complexity for how easy it is to use.
-
I'd really like to learn Dark Basic soon, but I'm aiming for higher compilers after QBasic.

Ha! Back in MAH TIME, we didn't HAVE NO stinkin' new-fangled game creatin' thingamajigs. Oh no, we had tah wake up at three in da mornin' and go whittle games outta cow manure an' raw data code! Shore, it was hard 'nd smelly an' of'n dang'rus, but boy HOWDY, it done builded character, ya'll.

Visual C# 2005 Express
It's free. :)

I should make a short game or RPG where you kill ALICE. 'twould be awesome!
-
But ALICE is nice! And she's invincible. Believe me, I've tried.
-
I write crappy TI-BASIC games on my calculator.
-
The Games Factory.
-
I make TI-BASIC programs, but none of them are games. They're all math-related. Fancy that!
