There might be no need for that, in some cases (depending on how you make the poll) you can edit it, and add more options.

Careful about those quotes, people! I don't mean to quarrel, but the quantity of quotes is reverse proportional to the legibility of a page. And I voted for Luigi, so there.

I would have to vote for Luigi.I think he is better than Mario because he taller,he canjump high than Mario in some games, and I think green looks better.

Mario IS the more well known of the two.
I chose Mario. Really, this is a matter of opinion.
And Wario and Waluigi aren't brothers. (From what I heard from the site)

Luigi was the 2nd player charecter so automatically he's been labeled as a side kick by everybody on the net. Then more recent games cement over that side kick idea.
Mario's the main guy in the game because of Peach. It's Peach who sent Mario the letter in M64, Peach who told him to go to Rogueport, Peach who gets kidnapped. If Luigi went instead of Mario it would seem like an affair was happening.
Just think Luigi went with Mario on all the adventures. Like in Superstar Saga.

I like both Mario & Luigi equally. Both of them has great personallity, I've played as mario & luigi in the games. But my opinion is Mario is better than Luigi.

Which Mario brother do you think is better? You may use any criteria you like to determine your answer. (That last sentence sounds like directions on a final exam, doesn't it?)
I prefer Mario, primarily because I don't like Luigi's lack of traction in games like SMB2J and SMW (Game Boy Advance version). Sure he jumps higher, but I'm always falling off ledges when I play as Luigi.

As you can see by my name, I am both. So, that makes this a hard decision. But, I've always liked the younger, taller, greener brother, so I picked Luigi. OMG! It's tied! 26 votes each! How great!

Both would make really cool brothers. I once did a role play where the teenage versions of Mario and Luigi were my adopted brothers (for some reason, it's very hard imagining them as teens)
