IN all of my classes this year, I got one B!
Not as good as last year, but it'll do!

Body Dynamics: A
Literature: A
Science: B
Art: A
Math: Still missing.

I think when I get that math grade, I'll be going to the angst thread.

EDIT:
In last semester. This ones not over yet.

I've not seen the movie in its entirety (it's always about an hour and a half in when I catch it on TV), but I've read the book, and it is very good.

I loved that movie when I saw it.  I like Stevie Wonder's "Stay Gold."
I always figured "Time to tip the scales" was Wario's everyday motto.

What the hecks is Body Dynamics? A new term for P.E.? Which is a dumb name in itself?
That was a joke.

I bet it's a gym class for girls. My school has one of those, "women's fitness" or something. P.E. is hardly a name, just an abbreviation for physical education. But you knew that.

It's hardly education. All I learn is that school is unfair. To fat people, anyway.

As much as I want winter to end, it was nice to get a day off from school this week from the storm of the decade.

I'd hate to miss school. I've had 3 delayed openings in February due to an ice storm, and when they do that, a period is cut from the day, with the rest of the classes being shortened.

I've always thought that delayed openings were more trouble than they are worth. They cause more hassle for parents (because one parent may need to stay with the kids until the bus arrives), students (because classes will be rushed), and teachers (because one class will be behind the others). I think it would be easier to just stay home.

Due to the fact that most of the students at my school live in the country, there won't be delayed openings, just school closures.
