1) The subject of requesting songs for WTMK came up in the chatroom, and I thought this would be the best place to hear what people want to hear on WTMK.

2) I have Mario Golf (N64 and GC) music ready. But, because Nintendo didn't release any soundtracks, the music is recorded from the game, which means the bird-chirping and other background sound effects are present. My question to you, is, would the SFX be too distracting, or should I go ahead and put up the Mario Golf music already? (There is one track up with sound effects, if you've heard it you know what I mean.)

The sound effects would be fine with me.

If it matters, I like the original material better than straight OST stuff. The weirder, the better.

Yeah. The sound effects are fine. No one will care. I sugest you put on some Super Mario OC Remixes. There's quite a few of 'em.
Oh! And I found this awesome song called "Super Mario Sleigh Ride." It's a Jazz Mix of various Super Mario Bros. and Christmas songs. It'd be perfect for the upcoming Holiday season!

No OC unless they are "very" good quality, like the Dr. Fruitcake. The Christmas one might be cool, though.

You should put some of the wtmk playlists from the distant past in zip folders for downloading.

Another question.  How could I record music from a video game, and put it on my computer?

"SMW Credits Theme" and more SMS stuff. And if it doesn't upset everyone too much less WarioWare music.

Nah. THe Wario Ware Inc. songs are fine. THere really aren't that many. Just the Opening Theme Song, Dr. Crygor's THeme, and Dribble and Spitz's radio. Also, you should put more Paper Mario and Super Mario RPG songs up.

Meowrik was just kidding.
He hates Wario Ware music and he doesn't want Paper Mario or Mario RPG music on.
He wants the Mario Party music toned down a bit too.

Note: TheEggMan was using sarcasm in his last thread. Mario Party music is also fine. Also try putting on some more Mario Kart 64 music.

Jman, you'd need a stereo RCA jack to minijack adapter, and then you could plug that into your sound card's input port, and then you could record.
Basically.

As for OCRs, I vote the less, the better. More official arrangements or better yet, the original music.
I have no requests at this time.

As sad as this may be, I agree... some music from Mario 'obscurities' (e.g. Mario is Missing) would be a welcome change. And some more pure, low quality, classic Mario goodness. That, and YS. That's all I got for now :)

I shall now mate a yoshi (i got it off the black market) with a llama (see above)!!!

How about a bit less Mario Party music? And I miss the Mario 'parodies' (Italian Plumber Lawsuit, Do the Donkey Kong, etc.). I'd also like some more from GC Mario games, and I love the big band stuff. And some more SML would be cool, too. Also, a bit more SM64 would be nice...

How's 'bout Teehee Valley from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Also, Mario Party 5 music would be good, and Rainbow Road form Double Dash is a must.

Eh, OH!!!

Another "Rare MP3 Update" is needed. M&L:SS World Map or Mario's Gouse or something similar on WTMK. WAIT, it's the remix of the Pipe House from SMRPG. I LOVE THOSE!

Put the Pipe House and the M&L remix of it on there or make an update about it. Thanks you...

Yes, Mario's Gouse is a cool song, but I think Mario's House is even cooler. >:P

A new song from OC ReMixes came out, that I think should be added to WTMK. It's called "Super Mario's Tropical Paradise" or something along those lines. It just came out so it shouldn't be too tough to find on the website. It's pretty good. It is a mix of many songs from games such as SMB, SMRPG, SMB3, Dr. Mario, etc. all with a tropical island beat to it.
