TMK Stuff > Site Discussion
Rules and Guidelines - Please read before posting
Deezer:
Notes for new members:
* New members will only be able to reply to topics. With proper conduct, you will eventually earn the ability to post new topics.
* Because of spam accounts, your website info won't appear on your profile until you earn the ability to post topics.
Rules:
* No deliberately getting around the censors. Include a warning in your post if you're linking to potentially inappropriate material.
* No images or styled text in signatures, or signatures longer than 2 lines.
* No bumping for the sake of bumping. Bumping is posting in an inactive thread for the sole purpose of moving it to the top of the list.
* No spamming or flooding.
* No flame wars.
* No discussion of politics outside the Not at the Dinner Table sub-board.
* No advertising web sites.
* No impersonating TMK staff or forum moderators.
* No talking in all capital letters ("shouting").
* No asking for or posting of ROMs or links to ROMs.
* No asking for or posting other copyrighted material such as MP3s or links to MP3s.
* No asking for custom titles or any other special privileges on this board.
* No harassing or threatening forum members.
* If you are not a moderator, do not act like you are a moderator.
* Treat other forum members with respect.
Guidelines:
* When starting a new topic, add something meaningful to the first post. For example, here's what not to do.
* Avoid posting many new topics in one day.
* Thoroughly search for previous topics on the same subject before posting a new topic.
* Very short, particularly one word posts are generally a waste of a post. Think about whether your post is really contributing anything to the community.
* Forums are not intended to be used as a fast-paced chatroom. For that, please visit the actual chatroom.
* Custom titles may be used for positive and negative reasons. If you receive a negative one, or if you don't understand your CT, take some time to evaluate your behavior and correct it.
* If you do not understand these rules, it is likely that you are not ready to participate on these forums. You are welcome to return in the future.
Warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans may be given for breaking any rule, depending on the severity of the offense and moderator discretion.
These rules are in effect for the public message board as well as for personal messages.
Deezer:
Please take note of the updated signature rules, in particular no styled text, meaning color, bold, italic, etc. These were added to the first post a month later, so some people might have missed it.
Thanks,
The management.
Sapphira:
Please note that the rules have been updated with these things (I might be missing something, but I know these were added):
* Custom titles may be used for positive and negative reasons. If you receive a negative one, or you don't understand your CT, take some time to evaluate your behavior and correct it.
* If you do not understand these rules, it is likely that you are not ready to participate on these forums. You are welcome to return in the future.
Sapphira:
Since MB never makes a note when the rules/guidelines are updated, I'll have to keep doing it. -_-'

Deezer, can you clarify. While, I agree with WR, this is a so called "slippery slope", and sometimes the emulators themselves maybe illegal if they used an SDK.
