I'm sure that by now most of you have heard this news, but I just wanted to clear this stuff up for anyone who hasn't.

The August 2000 edition of EGM, Nintendo was reported to have registered trademarks for a system called 'Star Cube'.  The article didn't say which countries these were registered in, and at this point we can't even be sure that this will be the name of a system.  It is an interesting twist, though...

I heard it was called "Nintendo Dauphin."

Daulphin was a code name for the system, sourta like Ultra 64 was.  Star Cube?  Thats a weird name.  It sounds interesting though.

I heard Star Cube is some other product...I don't remember much about the article refering to it, but if I remember right it had something to do with cell phones.
