I for one wish they would give the sports and Party series' a rest and actually focus on some new platformers/sidescrollers, or even a new RPG.

It does make me curious how much the service will cost.  Will it be a monthly payment thing?  Or will it have a "pay by game" type service?  I'm putting my money on the latter.

I'm sure they'll make some third-party controllers that resemble the original console ones.  After all, you can find Gamecube controllers that look like NES pads and such so I'm betting they'll make stuff like that for the Revolution too.

Something I don't think they mentioned on that page is that the Revolution will act like an emulator for all previous Nintendo consoles.  In other words, you can download games for the NES, SNES, and N64 to play on the Revolution.  Granted, you'll have to pay for the service, but it's stil pretty awesome.

Definately.  It seems as though either Bowser Jr or Baby Bowser makes an appearance as well.  Either they definately incorporated time-travel into the game or perhaps we'll finally get our answers about Bowser Jr being the eigth Koopaling.

This may sound ignorant, but what game was this Eclair person mentioned in?  I'm assuming it was PM: TTYD.

Mario Chat / Re: Super Smash Bros. GBA, NDS, or REV?
« on: April 01, 2005, 05:52:09 PM »
Probably not on GBA, if only because of the graphics restrictions.  I would definately like one on the Revolution, though.  To be honest, I'd be surprised if they didn't make one.  And as for the DS, I think it would be pretty nifty if they could pull it off.  I think Smash Bros is one of those excellent "I've got some time to kill" games, so it would be great to have it on a handheld system and be able to carry it around with you.

Mario Chat / Re: New Mario TV series?

Yeah, that always is a very troubling thought.  Honestly, I'd be afraid that they might try and pull some cheesy stunt like Mario being able to go Super Saiyajin, or having Mario and Luigi fuse together to make Bros Man or something.  But yeah, Charles Martinet all the way.

I think you're gonna have to elaborate a little bit more, my friend.  In what context are you asking the question?  The only Yoster I know of is the small island from SMRPG, Yo'ster Island.

I've seen a couple episodes of Kirby, but I don't know enough about the game series to have been either disapointed nor impressed.  I did rather like the animation style, however, and if they were to make a new Mario show I would kind of like it to look similar.  And hopefully they'd get some good writers.  I mean, they don't have to be Emmy Winners or anything, but just not the same old guys who write Power Rangers and stuff.

To be honest, though, I'd rather see a Mario comic series than a Mario cartoon.  Comics give you alot more freedom than TV does.

I guess that's true.  I suppose it's been established that Wario isn't evil, just really greedy.  Waluigi, on the other hand, seems just plain bad.

I gotta disagree about Kongo Jungle.  I think that one's on an island all its own.  Wario Land, though, I'm not so sure.
