Title: Cleaning NES games
Post by: superstarMASIAH on January 09, 2005, 03:56:41 PM
I bought some NES games from a kid at school.  They didnt work when I first got them, but once I cleaned them with rubbing alchohol they were fine.  Except for 1, and that 1 is SMB3(My favorite game, of course!) And it dosnt seem to fit in like the other games do.  It feels loose. Do any of you know how I can get it to work?

Is the plastic case not holding the circuit board in properly?  Is that what you mean by "loose"?

It's such a great game that it was overused. Mine, which I got from my cousin, gets all weird--the sprites turn into numbers when you play for 10 minutes or more.

try binding it back together and if that doesn't work try selling to some unlucky preschooler for $1 since he doesn't know what's wrong with it.
