Last I checked, Thwomps aren't from DKR :P

But yeah, the magnet is what threw me off. And the fact that they are on, ya know, invisible motorcycles...

The giant hammer threw me off, too, but it is obviously a Mario Kart parody.

It's one of the better MK parodies that I've seen.. the ending was kind of sad, but pretty good. I say it's sad since she left right after racing him. It's obvious that they really like eachother. (won't spoil it for those that haven't seen it yet).

YouTube link (http://youtube.com/watch?v=4OWijrwHgjc)... for whatever reason.

I liked it.  It would have stood on its own without the Mario Kart gimmick.  Funniest moment:  THWOMP!.

Would have been much better if Mario Kart music and sound effects were used.

Possibly.  But you would've never been able to see the film with all the copyright issues.
