Do you smell that? It's the fresh smell that's coming from these boxarts. The Super Mario Galaxy one may hold secrets about gameplay and such, so make sure to check out that one. The Donkey Kong Barrel Blast one? Well, Nintendo's just hoping you'll buy the game. You will, won't you?

See them in all their original size glory at the links below!

That SMG box art is amazing! It throws me back to 1996 when I unwrapped Super Mario 64...

Guess I'ts now longer the working title. That's good to hear.

Why even bother to have rating pending? We all know what it's gonna be.

You can't stuff words into the ESRB's mouth. They'll sue Nintendo and everyone who has ever bought a game of theirs.

Indeed, it'll be rated M.

SMG boxart: Ah, Mario smiling. It's a sight to behold. I say this because Mario had an angry, thug look on his face for the SMS boxart, which I felt was very out of character for the mustached plumber. It's as if he was trying to say, "What are you looking at, punk?" That's my opinion, anyway.

DKBB boxart: They're putting instructions on the box, now? I wonder when the day will come when the game's full strategy guide will be on the box, too.

I remember the old boxart for galaxy. I can see why they changed it. Its more colorful and looks better. Also shows more of the actual levels in the game.
I really don't care much for logic.

Love, love, love Galaxy. Reminds me of SM64. ...And what were they GOING to call it--besides Super Mario Galaxy? I never even considered that one "working".

What's that? "Working?" Hmmm... well if you think about it, Galaxy works just as well as World, Land, and much better than Sunshine. If Super Mario 128 is what you're thinking, that's become the name of experiments and stuff... There won't be a game by the title (as far as we know today).
Yes, the Galaxy box is pretty awesome. Very loudly does it shout, "MARIO GAME!!" A fine decision to bring back "MARIO." Looking back, Sunshine's box was so dull...

Wow! I just saw the old Super Mario Galaxy box in Gamestop the other day, and judging by both of them, this new one looks a lot better! It's more colorful and livelike than the previous 2 3D Mario platformers!
The Mario series is the best! It has every genre in video games but RTS'! It also has a plumber who does different roles, a princess, and a lot of odd creatures who don't seem to poop!

Mabey it's a hint that they are going to start making PVC toys again, just like they did in the 80's.

Whoo-hoo! Break out the homemade costumes, it's time to do the Mario again!

...There was only one notable island off of Delfino's coast, Pinna Island.

Actually, pause this video at 00:28:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJQNhBRZgd4

We can see Isle Delfino's surrounding islands, which are also shaped like animals, like turtles, crabs and jellyfish. From the way the islands are spread out, Isle Delfino might be part of an archipelago. Maybe.

BTW, I've heard people say "This box for SMG is much better then the old one" and stuff like that. Does anyone have an image of SMG's original boxart?

I think those other islands are too far away from Isle Delfino to really count all of them as an archipelago.

kinda -- adverb
to some (great or small) extent

Mario is wearing the same clothes and has his hands in the same position.
The background is space.
The foreground has some multi-colored stars.
The logo has the return of the multi-color MARIO and very similar font.
It says Wii in the top right corner of a white bar.

Have they started making PVC figures again? Is there one of Peach, becuase that was the only one I was missing to have a near complete collection (enough of a cast to hold my own Mario show, anyway..)

I guess I could go check the page myself.. -_-;;

For the last time... SMS should've been Super Mario Island!

Actually, Sunshine fits in a bit better:

Land - World (Planet) - Sunshine (Solar System) - Galaxy

Of course, I don't think they could do a Super Mario Universe without it being a rehash of Galaxy... so maybe Universe could be an MMO... Or maybe they'll just choose a name that completely screws up the whole method and proves that they weren't actually thinking about it.

Well, as no one else seems to be noticing, I guess I'll have to be the one to point out how much danger DK is in.  Should he get too close to a stray branch, he could be in a whole world of hurt.  One little snag on that tie and his head snaps back hard enough to keep that grin off his face for good.
