Title: Egyptian Unrest
Post by: Mr. Wiggles on February 11, 2011, 03:03:09 AM
I had no clue we didn't have something on this. Pretty interesting stuff for those who are following. The latest news making the rounds is that President Hosni Mubarak has been forced to relinquish his power (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/egypt/8317781/Egypt-crisis-protesters-vow-massive-demonstrations-to-dislodge-defiant-Hosni-Mubarak.html), but he hasn't specified just when he'll be gone and how this transition of power will be handled.

So it seems they're still on square one in regards to changing their government.

Looks like it's official (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/12/world/middleeast/12iran.html).

Iran also offered a couple of words for them and we all know how much of a fan they are of US influence.
