You know that one part in SMRPG? The one where you need to jump on the tadpoles to make a song? I think it's unfair you need to do it by ear. I mean, couldn't they give a visual indicator as to what note you just hit? This need to be fixed in a ROM hack.

If I wasn't on my Wii now, I'd head over to my VC SMRPG thingy and use that. But what I meant was, "Why not have a banner that shows your notes you've hit so far?"

...can you even SEE the screen? You do know the tadpoles represent the note placement, right? I agree that you can't see much of the notes you've already hit, but it's probably assumed all you care about is hitting the next note right and that you know your current place in the song. What I always mess up on is knowing where to hit the tadpole to correspond with the note I want. I know all about Do Re Mi corresponding to C D E etc., but as for getting the tadpole to line up on the right note... come on, everything's in 3/4 view, I'm not used to reading music at a slant.

But for that, you can get a piece of paper, use an electric piano or online piano, sound out the notes, then draw out where they are so you know where to jump on the tadpoles. If you can't read music though, then... well, learn. Weegee posted all you need to know.

There are several things that are annoying: The music industry is going down the toilet, Obama screwed up the USA with government run healthcare and I am sick of people calling my MP3 player an iPod. I have a Cowon D2 and would never own anything made by Apple. People, iPods and MP3 players ARE THE SAME EXACT THING. The only differences are the price, bang for the buck and manufacturer.

Please elaborate. Having never heard this before, I am intrigued.

I think he means our current president, but I could be wrong.  Besides, topics like that belong in the "Not at the Dinner Table" board.  I will refrain from commenting on the situation because I haven't been paying much attention to politics lately.

I've been generally avoiding GoNintendo lately, on account of SMG2 spoilers. But yeah, I did catch that. Well, I'm not surprised... eh, with my Wii broken and me being so busy these days, it's hardly a big deal to me.
