Hey, okay, I'm going to try something new. The next person to reply and the person after that both put a Super Mario (NOT Zelda) character that they would like to be. Then, We give them stats. and then we battle them in a Super Mario RPG type thing.
Rules:
Here is how you do the stats:
You have 150 points when you start. Every battle that you win, you get 10 more points. Every battle you lose, you lose 10 points.
here are the things that you can use your points on:
Attack
Defense
Speed
or you can use your points on items:
Mushroom (recover 20 HP) 10 points
Lucky jewel (doubles the amount of points gained or lost) 15 points

Hey, Linky! what's our HP's? If we choose, mine is 1,000, while Mario's will be 250. because I'm metal, and metal is near invincible (play SM64 to see what I mean.).

Okay, this is my 4th relpy here, and 3rd one in a row, but i have some items: (luckily, my descriptions aren't as vauge as SMRPG's. No offense, though) All permanent items are marked "Eqippable" and are high-priced.

Star Egg: take out 1/2 of max HP. Reusable over and over again Value: 4,999 pts. or just go to Crate guy's house, play blakjack against him and win 250 times (not nessiscarily in a row, though).

Hot food: increases attack by 50%. Value: 20 pts.

Hammer: A strong,wooden hammer. Weak on:metal and firebreath. (Eqippable) 4 The Bros. only. Value: 500 pts. (work hard!)

Big Boo photo: Scares the opponent! Value: 15 pts.

Lullaby record: 50/50 chance of putting someone to sleep. Value:99 pts.

Rock candy: A tasty treat that increases defense by 25%. Value: 22 pts.

Super Shake: Doubles your Defense, Attack, and speed for one battle! (great for a boss!) Value:100 pts.

Duct tape: 75/25 chance of muting a character. Can be used 10 times. Value: 44 pts.

Lemon sugar: Increases speed by 50%. Value: 30 pts.

Pokey Pin: Wakes you up. Value: 5 pts.
Bowser shell: Prevents you from being scared!(Eqippable) Value: 650 pts.

MEGAshield(tm): Prevents ALL side effects! You can eqip this. Value: 9,000 pts. (ouch!)

Side effects:
Mute: Decreases speed by 50% (lemon sugars combat this)

Asleep: Attack goes down by 80%, while Defense goes up 40%, due to when asleep,U don't notice many things. (a pokey pin combats this.)

Scared: All stats go down 75%. (Bowser shell combats this.)

Fainted: You're dead! you lost! Your HP will be fully revived next battle.

MEGAshield combats all side effects (except fainted..

Also, we have rankings! (Bravery pts. are how bad a side effect will hit U. For every 10 pts. you have, U will lose 1% percent on bad effects and gain 2% on good ones.)

Nobody: bravery=-20 (lose 12 battles in row for this) This means side effects are worse.
Baby:start at this
Kid:Bravery goes up by 12 pts. (chance items will have 25% less chances of working on you.)
Mega: Bravery=25 pts. (chance attacks only hit you with half chance)
Master: Bravery=50 pts. (Chances are now 75-25!)
Local Hero: Bravery=75 pts. (chance stay the same for this rank and up.)
Country Hero: Bravery=100 pts.
World Hero: Bravery=150 pts.
INVINCEBLE!:Bravery=275 pts.
U won the game already!:Bravery pts.=9,999 pts. (this means U can't fight anymore. You must make a new person and start all over again.)

2 get a rating: every 12 wins in a row moves U up 1 rank.

OK, change of plans....
A lot more ppl were interested in this than I thought. So, lets do it this way...
Open up a new topic to find challengers and then fight - one topic per fight
OR
Join in a fight and make it a "Free for All"
OR
Have some ppl respond and make a "Team Battle"
PLUS
In any fight, you can have an outside, unbiased person be the "Master Hand". This person will controll the "natural elements" ex: "A tornado suddenly sweeps yoshi off her feet"
AND
Before fighting, remember that the stats are to be used more as a guideline as opposed to the fight depending on it. For exampled: "Since I gave Bowser a stronger attack, when Mario launched his fireball and Bowser spit his fire, Mario's fireball should have been knocked off"
Also remember to set the scene (Yoshi's Island, Bowser's Castle, ect.)
One last thing - I changed my mind about the Mario characters thing. Be any Nintendo character you want - so long as its Nintendo.
