Mario Chat / Some Limericks I Wrote At Work

This past summer, I worked for a month at the place where I worked two summers ago, taking inbound telemarketing calls of various types. I believe it's the last menial job I'll ever have, but who knows?

One day I resolved to write a limerick, a humorous verse form of 5 anapestic lines with a rhyme scheme AABBA, for each major Mario game. This came to a crashing halt when my mom gave me a bathroom reader to read between calls, which then took all my time. I still imagined that I'd complete my goal someday, but it ain't going to happen, folks. So here, published for the first time ever, is the incomplete project.

Perhaps you can finish it?

Who is this cloud guy named Mallow?

His body is made of pure tallow!

I'd better help him,

Though he makes quite a din,

Else Smithy will leave our world fallow.

This is perhaps the coolest program I have seen in my life. It's a complete 3D picture of the world that NASA made using satellite photos. There are tons of options and overlays. Anyone who can, download it. It's a bit heavy on disk space, though.
