Author Topic: Why don't any of you people have VVVVVV  (Read 26992 times)

Seriously why?

It's fifteen dollars on-line. It's beautiful. It's fun. It's touching. It's got twenty collectible trinkets. It has excellent music start to finish. It has no waggle. It has a button dedicated to reversing your personal gravity. It could be the platformer you've all been whining for, and yet

none of you have it.

The second-best game of 2010. Second to Bayonetta.

Go buy it.

It's actually slightly cheaper right now if you buy it from the right place.

Which I plan to do so I can see for myself why this game is so good.

VVVVVV, second-best game of 2010, has now hit the electronic digital Steam videogame store for $5. I paid $15! Oh well, it's worth $50.

Man, all my money this week is already spent on other stuff. I guess I'll have to miss the 10% off bit and buy it for $5 next week.

Hmm.  For some reason I have two copies of Steam on this machine.  Guess my wife and I both installed it.  For me it was because of Portal.  For my with it was The Sims 3.  Now I'm re-downloading Portal and getting VVVVVV.  Wow, it's only $4.49!  That's another 10% saved.  Now I have $15.51 left to spend.  Should I put it all on VVVVVV or get something else?  Any suggestions?

Yep.  Got it on Steam now.

Here's some I considering:

KrissX
$4.99

Eversion
$9.99

Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Persian Carpet
$9.99

Professor FizzWhizzle
$6.99

Ziro
$9.99

Puzzle Agent
$6.69

Puzzle Dimension
$4.49

I haven't used Steam or PC gaming a long time so feel free to suggest/resuggest anything I might have missed/forgotten.  Thanks.

If you do have Peggle, might I suggest Obulis or Chains? I also hear Chime is good.

I have it for DS and really enjoyed it for a long time, but am in the mood for something different, but similarly addictive.

Obulis and Chime look/sound interesting.  Chains looks to slow.
